Aaron has lived in the tri-state area his entire life. Aaron is the owner and founder of The Shapiro Law Firm, LLC. In 2009, Aaron set out to create a law firm founded on honesty, integrity and accessibility. His goal is to advance each client’s interests within the bounds of the law.

Aaron attended Rutgers University, where he graduated with honors in 2005, focusing his studies on Political Science and Philosophy.

He attended the Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law, where he earned his Juris Doctorate degree in 2008.

Aaron resides in Connecticut, with his wife, son, and rescued dog, Philo. Aaron enjoys sailing his 1972 Pearson P26 sloop that he rebuilt with his brother, playing piano and guitar, working on cars and motorcycles, woodworking and vegetable gardening.

Amanda was born and raised in New York and currently resides in the East Village with her dog Bailey. She joined The Shapiro Law Firm, LLC, as a legal assistant in August 2012, and was promoted to of-counsel in November of 2012, when she was admitted to the New Jersey bar.

Amanda enjoys working at The Shapiro Law Firm, LLC, because she is able to meet and engage with clients and make a real difference in people’s lives. Analytical by nature, there was never any doubt that Amanda was going to become a lawyer. She has always had a passion for debate and justice. Amanda thrives in the courtroom by fervously advocating for her client’s rights.

Amanda understands the stress and uneasiness that clients feel when they have to attend a court proceeding or an immigration appointment. In order to reduce nerves, Amanda always attempts to connect with her clients by making jokes and taking their mind off of the stressful situation. Clients find that Amanda is easy-going, kind and pleasant to converse with. Most importantly, Amanda is able to empathize with clients from all over the world, enabling an honest line of communication that secures quicker and better results for her clients.
