How It All Began

A Natural Entrepreneur

Aaron began this process by cutting out unnecessary costs in order to keep overhead low. Rather than splurge on a fancy office, Aaron sought modest office space. Rather than paying large amounts of money to a third party to advertise and market the firm, Aaron and his dog Philo walked up and down the streets of New York City promoting the new firm and handing out his business cards to anyone who was interested. His relentless and admirable pursuit to personally promote The Shapiro Law Firm, LLC, attracted much attention and ultimately enabled the firm to become the success that it is today.

The Shapiro Law Firm, LLC, was found in 2009 by visionary superstar Aaron D.P. Shapiro, Esq. Aaron was frustrated with the bureaucracy and the profit-driven mindset of big law firms, and set out to redefine the structure of a successful legal practice.

The Legacy Continues

A New Attorney Means a New Perspective & New Opportunities

A few years later, Amanda B. Shaffer, Esq., joined The Shapiro Law Firm, LLC, as an of-counsel attorney. Aaron is married to Amanda’s beautiful sister Jessica, but this is not another case of nepotism. Aaron ensured that Amanda worked to the level of excellence that he strives for in his own work. Aaron’s “tough love” attitude quickly shaped Amanda into a confident, outspoken and effective litigator. Competitive in nature, Amanda and Aaron’s unique brother-sister relationship has resulted in increased success for our clients, by always challenging the other’s point of view and not taking sloppiness or mistakes lightly. Our clients constantly state that they enjoy Amanda and Aaron’s comedic banter and intelligent and effective legal debates.
